Wise has demonstrated the capacity and ability to deliver on custom built technology solutions for the mental health sector.

1. Develop a computerised health record and database that supports work people accessing mental health services.

Phacts is a Wise Technology information product that has been custom designed to be easily accessible. It contains individual service user demographic information, as well as capturing the support process, which includes assessment, goal planning, service delivery and ongoing review. Paper documents can be scanned into the electronic file, and other electronic records/reports can also be attached, enabling a single, comprehensive record. Phacts is being used by a number of organisations in the Wise Group.

2. Develop an analysis and reporting tool that integrates with the Phacts system.

Business Intelligence (BI) is a tool developed by Wise Technology that enables reports to be developed from information contained within the Phacts database. There is a range of standard reports that allow managers, service and team leaders, and administrators to access information relevant to their team/service. This includes demographic and service utilisation information. There is also an additional reporting component (Phacts Analysis) which allows one-off reports to be developed.

3. Develop a web-based system that will enable organisation to track health outcomes.

Wise Technology has developed the Decision Support System (DSS). It is a tool designed for use by District Health Boards collecting outcomes measures to access and analyse data collected, and provide useful information. This information and analysis enables continuous data improvement of collections and project learnings can assist in any future development of a national analysis system. The DSS is a prototype development that has national application.
