WISE is constantly looking for new ways of working to promote efficiency and
nurture innovation.

1. Create a solution for streamlining costs and working smarter.

As a national Group WISE is geographically dispersed. To work smarter and reduce the cost of travel and the time spent travelling, video conferencing was identified as a key solution. Video conferencing has been rolled at 12 sites throughout the country. It has created efficiencies and promoted even greater collaboration between geographically separated teams without the need to travel.

2. Develop a tool to provide robust employee and organisational information and streamline a range of HR systems and processes.

WISE has implemented a Human Resource Information System. It is a payroll and employee information management software tool customised to meet the Group’s needs. In phase one it streamlines payroll functions and allows employees to self manage personal information and leave requests. Future business benefits around succession planning, recruitment and training will be realised as part of a modular rollout.
