The Wise family

We believe in valuing people and touching
their lives

The Wise Group is a family of charitable entities.  We’re multiple businesses working together for a common purpose. Our structure nurtures synergy and innovation, and means we’re transparent and accountable.

Wise Trust is the parent entity and single shareholder across the Group. Each organisation has its own governance board, and Wise Trust ensures a common direction and purpose between the individual organisations.

The link between all the entities goes beyond the mechanics of shared structures and business services.  The link goes to the heart of our business – our desire to improve the lives of people who experience mental illness in New Zealand, every day, everywhere.

The Wise Group is:

Real

For many years the Wise Group has wanted to respond to the mental health and wellbeing needs of young people. We believe that by supporting young people in a way that recognises their uniqueness, fewer will go on to need services later in their lives. In 2011, The Group launched Real, a suite of services for young people aged 16 – 20 that are all about creating wellness and wellbeing. Real’s services are designed in consultation with young people.
